Programs Scheduled for 2023

Youth

  • Northfield Community Services uses the QuickStart model for grades K-8.  Skills, drills and match play are also offered to youth entering grades 6-8.

Junior Team Tennis

USTA JTT is a United States Tennis Association (USTA) program offering boys and girls instructor-led practice sessions, intra-team scrimmages and official match play against other area teams.

The USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) program kicks off with a skills assessment where the organizers will divide the kids into competitive co-ed teams within three age groupings.  Match format includes singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.  Minimum skill level for JTT program participation, as defined by USTA, is “A player who is fairly consistent when hitting medium paced shots, can sustain a rally, and serve with consistency.”  Anyone who does not meet this minimum skill level may be directed to other Community Services tennis programs to build skill level.

Adult

Morning and evening adult league play will once again be offered this summer.
